Don't let obstacles get in the way! I am a visually impaired athlete and I have set my sights on competing in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics Games. My wife, Julie, and I were blessed to be contestants on Season 4 of The Amazing Race Canada, and we now turn our sights to the Paralympics! My vision has been slowly disappearing since I was a child, and I am now considered legally blind due to a degenerative eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa. The road to the paralympics and national/international competition will not be possible without the generous support of others who share my dream. I would be so thankful for any help I can get along the way. The journey will be easier with support from those who believe in me and want to be a part of the journey!
